For our European Quality Center in Berlin we are currently seeking a

Customer Quality Engineer (f/m)

Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead customer quality issues to resolution, drive corrective actions and continuous improvements.
- Project management of cross-functional and international problem solving teams.
- Act as ‘Voice of the customer’ throughout the European organisation.
- Facilitate close co-operation with engineering, design, plant quality, sales and after-sales in international MSA affiliates.
- Conduct systematic root cause analysis, initiate corrective and preventive actions in case of product quality issues.
- Develop action plans and monitor their implementation, introduce continuous improvement processes.
- Employ preventive and statistical methods for analysing and improving processes and products.
- Problem solving and reporting with 8-D processes.
- Campaigns to promote quality awareness and continuous improvement.
- Develop metrics for the concern resolution process, monitor related quality costs.

Your qualifications should include:

- Masters or Bachelors Degree; preference given to study of quality engineering or a comparable field.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Proficiency in communication and presentations.
- Sound working knowledge of quality methods and tools, knowledge of current standards and principles.
- Six Sigma Black Belt / Green Belt.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with preference given to native speakers, other languages useful.
- Strong customer service and team orientation, quality awareness.
- Solid IT skills: data-bases, MS Office, Lotus Notes, SAP, image editing, project management software.
